Sephora goodies

I stumbled into sephora the other day and needed to find a nee foundation to control my unruly oily skin.
I was loosing hope thinking I'd just give up on makeup all together than have my face look like the bp oil spill.
Good news I was able to find these amazing items. Some of these are not for my oily skin of course but just a good find.
1. Matte Velvet foundation. I love this foundation becauase its a matte finish no extra powder to set it needed. I have what I like to call ”extremely” oily skin and this I can say was just what the doctor ordered. 2. HD powder. I love this powder not only because a little goes a long way but because ive completely noticed less oil when I started using this (even just this and a powder is flawless)
3. Next is the sephora eyeshadow prisma chrome. Which looks copper but goes on a little more ”orangey”” this was $3 and I haven't even put a dent in it, I use a eyelid primer ”urban decay” or ” jumbo pencil by nyx which really makes this color POP

4. Foundation brush, which is a great applicator and doesn't waste my foundation (aka suck it up). I found circular motions are better than what I call ”painter strokes.” So this foundation gets the full coverage look im going for, without looking caked on! 5. Lastly but never least. The laura mercier sample mascara. I have to add I looove the smell-I use love alot I know. The apllicator makes the mascara glide on so smoothly.. and seperates all my tiny not so long but I wish they were eyelashes. All in all, as always I found great finds at Seohora-they always know how to suite all my makeup needs. A girl like me has a make up addiction and its like a loaded gun when im in a store like this. Hope this review helps you all on your make up adventures.

Eye makeup remover anyone?

DSC00738
I’m in absolute love with this Body Shop eye makeup remover that I stumbled across when I use to work there over the holidays. Women would come in all the time looking for something they can use that 1. wouldn’t burn their eyes out, and 2.they didn’t have to rub their eye area to get their eye make up off. I swore and still swear by this stuff first of all for the burning your eyes out this wont at all even if you pour it in your eye it won’t- don’t try this at home I only know this because I accidentally put too much on my cotton ball and yah. So for the not having to rub around your eye as we know is a big NO NO since it’s the most sensitive and “brittle “part of your face I say.

This even comes in waterproof makeup remover as well but with the non waterproof it’s still as easy as pour, wipe and done. I believe this runs for $14.00 this does not have a scent either just heaven in a bottle for us that look like raccoons the next morning. The good thing about the body shop they do not test on animals and their an organic store..doesn’t get better than that I LOVED working there and the products are great hands down.

Now that blue little package you see is Targets own brand UP & UP. I use this as a eye makeup remover mostly but on those lazy nights that I have to take my makeup off I use this. 1 towel will remove all the makeup ( I have other steps like moisturizing and using toner as well ) The thing I can say I don’t like about these, is when I just want to remove my eye makeup I have to use 1 whole sheet the sheets are as big as a Kleenex  so sometimes because I hate being wasteful I will use one side, fold it up and save it for later then which is eventually the next day I use it for my whole face. This has a lavender scent to it and actually leaves your face very soft. I believe this went for $5.99 which isn’t bad for a pack of 30 wipes.

I’m that girl..that bad girl that doesn’t take her makeup off every night aka LAZY but I’m also a face freak so these are my cheats to after a long night being able to get that makeup off your face and then hitting the pillow! Smile

My Inspiration Beauty Guru

So I’ve been addicted to makeup tutorials online and my top Fav. is the Gorg  Nitraab http://www.youtube.com/user/nitraab?feature=watch check out her channel it’s the bomb.com NO LIE. I like watching her because she keeps you entertained the last thing I want to do is watch your tutorial no matter how good your makeup looks, and your voice is too low, or your just dull period. To be honest I rather watch paint dry than go through it.

Anywho, she’s quirky she’s funny and something about her personality makes me feel like I’ve known her forever. It may simply be her personality that reminds me of myself ( when I’m not shy )
I’ve struggled for the longest time to blend blend blend my eyeshadows when I went to MAC to get my makeup done I’m like “now girl what are you going to do with 5 eyeshadows” but the finished look was flawless and then I didn’t want to wash my face! So I watched and watched and finally did a tutorial or two of her looks, I even went as far as researching the hair extensions she uses ( now ya’ll I live in ARIZONA hair extensions is a different post all together ) I want you guys to check her out you won’t be disappointed I promise Smile
--------  So I did a tutorial of hers called “Bronzey and Glittery” --------
Of course I gotta give a sista credit and post the link here –>
