Sephora goodies

I stumbled into sephora the other day and needed to find a nee foundation to control my unruly oily skin.
I was loosing hope thinking I'd just give up on makeup all together than have my face look like the bp oil spill.
Good news I was able to find these amazing items. Some of these are not for my oily skin of course but just a good find.
1. Matte Velvet foundation. I love this foundation becauase its a matte finish no extra powder to set it needed. I have what I like to call ”extremely” oily skin and this I can say was just what the doctor ordered. 2. HD powder. I love this powder not only because a little goes a long way but because ive completely noticed less oil when I started using this (even just this and a powder is flawless)
3. Next is the sephora eyeshadow prisma chrome. Which looks copper but goes on a little more ”orangey”” this was $3 and I haven't even put a dent in it, I use a eyelid primer ”urban decay” or ” jumbo pencil by nyx which really makes this color POP

4. Foundation brush, which is a great applicator and doesn't waste my foundation (aka suck it up). I found circular motions are better than what I call ”painter strokes.” So this foundation gets the full coverage look im going for, without looking caked on! 5. Lastly but never least. The laura mercier sample mascara. I have to add I looove the smell-I use love alot I know. The apllicator makes the mascara glide on so smoothly.. and seperates all my tiny not so long but I wish they were eyelashes. All in all, as always I found great finds at Seohora-they always know how to suite all my makeup needs. A girl like me has a make up addiction and its like a loaded gun when im in a store like this. Hope this review helps you all on your make up adventures.

Sephora by OPI-late post

I bought these on my Sephora spree.
I love OPI and how smooth the nail polishes are.
I wore this mainly like the picture below. It was mostly a spring look light colors but I think you can pull this off with the base color(I gotta blush on you) and top it with the glitter(traffic stopoer copper)..to give you a copper look!

As always let your nails show your personality have fun with it! r

Clean the bottom...the babies bottom

I’ve been wanting to incorporate a mommy blog in my blog some how so I figured the best would be what to use to wipe the messiest of messes!
Name: Pampers Sensitive Thick Wipes
Count:300
Use: Baby messes as well as adults
Where to buy: Drug Stores,Target,WalMart
Cost:$ 12.00-13.00 depending on where you go.
My daughter was born with eczema and very sensitive skin, with both those it was very hard to find products that wouldn’t break her out, or cause her to have a reaction to something.
DSC00809
I finally found these “Pampers sensitive thick wipes” I guess I won’t have to explain how their thick and for sensitive skin right?! Well, here’s no scent what so ever which is great because it’s the perfume in products especially in our personal areas that cause irritation so why treat a baby’s bottom any different?  I use 1 wipe for wet and depending on how big the mess I can actually get by using 2 for a soiled which is awesome because a lot of people I know like to basically wrap their hands in wipes to just change a diaper-Armatures, they crack me up!
These also come in handy for those messy sticky times when out and about-before I go into a store I will put a package of wipes in my purse( along with one diaper) in case of a mess emergency and I’m good to go!
So if your looking for wipes for sensitive skin or just wipes to have at hand these I would highly recommend be your go to product!

Make-up Police!! - Cited for makeup abuse

I did a Youtube post not that long ago. If you read my previous post the link is there please check it out!
This is what it looked like after the storm.. I just collected every ounce of makeup I had set up my laptop and decided to do one of the tutorials I saw on Youtube.
I just recently got into this makeup epidemic and love it! However, I have more of a journey ahead of me starting with a Vanity, and maybe some Acrylic storage containers to organize that little caboodle of makeup you see right there on the left!  DSC00764
My Brushes sit in a glass container exposed to dust, hairspray (from when I do my hair) and randomness. My palettes sit in a blue Tupperware like container with a lid- this holds my 4 palettes and some eyelash boxes. Then there's my Cabodle  which has my individual eye shadows, foundation, … aka everything else!!
So most definitely  if there was a makeup police I would definitely be cited. So if anyone has suggestions on how to prevent this citation please let a fellow blogger know Smile

My first Youtube Tutorial

I FINALLY posted my you tube video that I did.. last week! It’s been so long because I’m trying to get use to Movie Maker Live then add to that, that there are endless options on how you want your movie to look. So I went with a quick and sweet way for my first one.

http://youtu.be/LSqjUOV0V3I

I’m pretty excited to see it on you tube it’s kind of like seeing yourself on T.V but not believing that’s you on there! Maybe a bit of an exaggeration but look that’s my take on it. Please check it out and leave a comment if you have a you tube yourself I’d love to see your vids.

Eye makeup remover anyone?

DSC00738
I’m in absolute love with this Body Shop eye makeup remover that I stumbled across when I use to work there over the holidays. Women would come in all the time looking for something they can use that 1. wouldn’t burn their eyes out, and 2.they didn’t have to rub their eye area to get their eye make up off. I swore and still swear by this stuff first of all for the burning your eyes out this wont at all even if you pour it in your eye it won’t- don’t try this at home I only know this because I accidentally put too much on my cotton ball and yah. So for the not having to rub around your eye as we know is a big NO NO since it’s the most sensitive and “brittle “part of your face I say.

This even comes in waterproof makeup remover as well but with the non waterproof it’s still as easy as pour, wipe and done. I believe this runs for $14.00 this does not have a scent either just heaven in a bottle for us that look like raccoons the next morning. The good thing about the body shop they do not test on animals and their an organic store..doesn’t get better than that I LOVED working there and the products are great hands down.

DSC00742

Now that blue little package you see is Targets own brand UP & UP. I use this as a eye makeup remover mostly but on those lazy nights that I have to take my makeup off I use this. 1 towel will remove all the makeup ( I have other steps like moisturizing and using toner as well ) The thing I can say I don’t like about these, is when I just want to remove my eye makeup I have to use 1 whole sheet the sheets are as big as a Kleenex  so sometimes because I hate being wasteful I will use one side, fold it up and save it for later then which is eventually the next day I use it for my whole face. This has a lavender scent to it and actually leaves your face very soft. I believe this went for $5.99 which isn’t bad for a pack of 30 wipes.

I’m that girl..that bad girl that doesn’t take her makeup off every night aka LAZY but I’m also a face freak so these are my cheats to after a long night being able to get that makeup off your face and then hitting the pillow! Smile

My Inspiration Beauty Guru

So I’ve been addicted to makeup tutorials online and my top Fav. is the Gorg  Nitraab http://www.youtube.com/user/nitraab?feature=watch check out her channel it’s the bomb.com NO LIE. I like watching her because she keeps you entertained the last thing I want to do is watch your tutorial no matter how good your makeup looks, and your voice is too low, or your just dull period. To be honest I rather watch paint dry than go through it.

Anywho, she’s quirky she’s funny and something about her personality makes me feel like I’ve known her forever. It may simply be her personality that reminds me of myself ( when I’m not shy )
I’ve struggled for the longest time to blend blend blend my eyeshadows when I went to MAC to get my makeup done I’m like “now girl what are you going to do with 5 eyeshadows” but the finished look was flawless and then I didn’t want to wash my face! So I watched and watched and finally did a tutorial or two of her looks, I even went as far as researching the hair extensions she uses ( now ya’ll I live in ARIZONA hair extensions is a different post all together ) I want you guys to check her out you won’t be disappointed I promise Smile
--------  So I did a tutorial of hers called “Bronzey and Glittery” --------
Of course I gotta give a sista credit and post the link here –>

Please check the rest of my blog to see how I obtained this look! I have been learning how to use movie maker and am still trying to upload my video response so please look out for that too :)

My workout inspiration

So we all know the difference between saying and doing right? Well i was one of those people that would always talk about working out but never put it into action.  I wasnt always like this i was the basketball player for 4 years in high school,  track runner and even had weight lifting class. So to sum it up I was fit (six pack fit)
It was when I had my daughter that that mindset went out the door and couldnt be seen a thousand miles away. It wasnt till recently almost two years later i finally found the motivation to do so. With a few struggles here and there but nonetheless it gets done
I found these pics in the "best beach bodies" article from global grind and decided they will too be apart of my inspiration on what I would like to look like after working out. Keep in mind it's not that I want to be as tiny as these ladies I know my body type is completely different that all of them, it's just the I want to look good in a bikini and everyone has their own way of getting inspired and motivated this my friends is one of my ways.

Christmas Fashion

I figured since I posted my New Years outfit I’d post my Christmas one.
Every Christmas we have it either at my Grandma’s house or another family members depending on whose willing to host it. This year was at my Aunt’s house. I wore something all together different to church which was just a red skirt from Forever 21 nude pumps from DSW and a black blazer ( STEAL I found at Goodwill )
The look I wore to dinner at my aunts was; a coral colored blazer from Goodwill ( if I remember correctly it was $10.00) Blue pants purchased from H&M $24.99 and Express sequined blouse from Express 2 for$19.99 sale.
IMG_0065
For my hair I’ve been experimenting with the one side deal so I bobby pinned it to stay on one side and curled with my curling wand ( Remington )
I believe I wore Black and Gold flats.
My makeup. I am wearing MAC matchmaster ( gift from the boyfriend), Bh cosmetics Pallete ( a few colors from there ) and Mac’s Rice paper, aruba blush from Sleek, spiked brow pencil, and MAC mineral finish, I have oily skin so I also used Urban Decay oil setting spray.
